From the Buckeye state hails  Jordan Hopkins a.k.a Nizzereo. Born and raised in Columbus Ohio, he has a love for his city. He taught himself the basics of both chord structure and music theory and started making beats on his cousin’s computer as a hobby. He began learning the basics of audio engineering at his church where he joined Audio/Visual Ministry at 12 years old. Eventually his hobby turned into a career choice and he began working on creating a successful career in music at the age of 16.


Nizzereo began perfecting his production skills and has developed a sound that combines smooth chords with aggressive drums and assertive bass lines. In college he continued improving his audio engineering ability by joining the AV Department of his school, Bethel College. He is skilled in Pro Tools, Logic, and Ableton Live. His love for all music allows him to have an open mind when working with other artist. He has been working to improve his live performances over the past year. This has led to performances at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX; Midwestern State in University Wichita, TX; Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK; Common Grounds in Waco, TX; and the Hardscuffle in Nashville, TN.


Nizzereo graduated from Bethel College in Mishawaka Indiana with a degree in Business Administration and minor in Music. He also spent a semester at the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville Tennessee when he received hands on experience within the music industry on both the business and performing side.  


Nizzereo’s favorite music includes Kendrick Lamar, A Tribe Called Quest, mewithoutYou, and Emery. In his spare time, he likes to spend time at art museums and teaching himself new skills such as photography or computer repair. He is self-driven by his desire to have a successful career in the music the music industry. This leads to him being a hard working, focused individual.
